Unwrap Pro doesn’t work by using the relax tool. Yes it is an extension to the Unwrap UVW modifier.
Thank you for your feedback, I’ll take it into consideration. might be a more convincing example, since there will be sharp angles and more crammed space, so showing prevention overlap while maintaining size and angle continuity at the click of a button would be even more impressive with a more practical example like that. I’ve seen the example with the cut out eye, but a head with cuts at the eyelids, mouth, nostrils etc. (Unless it actually is the native relax with some additional features.) I’d like to see it pitched against the native relax, comparing it to peel seems a bit unintuitive to me. Feel free to ignore): If you plan to produce some more feature videos it might make sense to make some shorter ones for individual features.įor me personally the prevention of border overlap seems to be the most interesting feature (and I like that the whole thing seems to be integrated into the normal uv-unwrap-modifier) The Unwrap UVW modifier lets you assign mapping (texture) coordinates to objects and sub-object selections, and to edit those coordinates by hand as well as with a variety of tools.
